Children in Scotland’s campaign ‘Making the Gender Equality Duty Real for children, young people and their fathers’, seeks to promote positive relationships with children and their fathers or male carers. They needed a website to disseminate information about their project and a logo to be used on the website and print correspondence.
Children in Scotland (CiS) wanted to create a highly accessible website to distribute information about the gender equality project. They were looking for a website and logo simple in colour and design, that conveyed a sense of warmth and positivity about the relationship between fathers and their children. The website was aimed primarily at health and social care professionals so the tone had to be professional but not too stiff.
In order to monitor the project CiS required an online survey from which they could harvest statistics about the type of professionals using the site and the value the placed on the information provided. We achieved this by integrating Survey Gizmo with the Wordpress CMS. In order to provide further statistical information on user behavior we set up a Google Analytic account, from which the client now receives monthly reports.
